Aligarh Muslim University Vice Chancellor releases Law Society Review and Newsletter

Aligarh, October 31: Student run legal journals, the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) Law Society Review and AMU Law Society Newsletter for the 2018-19 session were today released by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Tariq Mansoor in a special function at the Vice Chancellor’s Lodge.

The periodicals have in-depth articles, essays, book reviews, case comments, meticulous legal research and other important features written by law academicians, researchers, practitioners and students.

On the occasion, Prof Zaheeruddin, Dean, Faculty of Law and President, Law Society said that these journals provide scholarly information on relevant legal issues of our society written to deliver subject matter updates and analysis.

Prof Javaid Talib, Chairman, Department of Law, said that the newly releases Review and Newsletter are abundant basis for dissemination of knowledge appealing to all readers, and specifically, the students of law.

Piyush Chawla (Vice President, Law Society) and Faham Ahmed Khan (Secretary, Law Society) said that while the Law Society Review provides readers with well researched information on legal cases and issues, the Newsletter focuses on the significant events and developments at the Faculty of Law.

Mr Suhail Khan, editor of the Review and Newsletter with joint- editors Areebuddin Ahmed, Mohd Arman, Naba Khan, Md. Asadullah and Mallika Kapoor were also present.
