Aligarh Muslim University Vice Chancellor releases new Dawakhana logo

 

Aligarh: A new signature visual logo of the Dawakhana Tibbiya College, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) in tune with a new digital world has been released by Vice Chancellor, Prof Tariq Mansoor. The 70-year-old circular logo has now been replaced with an abbreviated word mark, ‘DTC’.

Prof Mansoor also launched a completely new designed—Roghan Benazeer Hair Oil with a palette dominated by bright colours.

“There has been a substantial increase in the demand of nature-based products and Unani Medicine across the globe. The new logo is focused to foster fresh brand loyalty and differentiate our products with others,” said the Vice Chancellor.

Prof Salma Ahmad, Member-in-Charge, Dawakhana Tibbiya College said: “A lot of research has gone into the rebranding to set our products up for long-term success. The re-branding has been an exciting endeavour. It will preserve our brand integrity and play a huge role in telling the brand story”.

The release of the new logo and the re-branded hair oil took place in a special ceremony at the Vice Chancellor’s Office. AMU Registrar, Mr Abdul Hamid (IPS); Finance Officer, Prof S M Jawed Akhtar and Dawakhana officials attended the function.
