Aligarh Muslim University: Webinar on Amazon Web Services

Aligarh: The Department of Computer Science, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) in collaboration with the with APPWARS Technologies organised a webinar on ‘Amazon Web Services (AWS)’ in which experts discussed cloud computing solutions involving large groups of remote servers, networked to allow centralized data storage, and online access to computer services.

Addressing over 250 students, the resource person, Mr Gaurav (APPWARS Technologies) threw light on how Cloud computing and AWS offer businesses with scalable computing resources.

He discussed the access of applications and data from any location and from any device with an internet connection through cloud computing and AWS.

Welcoming the participants, Prof Rafiqul Zaman Khan, Chairman, Department of Computer Science pointed out that cloud computing is the best option for businesses with fluctuating workloads.

He also invited APPWARS Technologies for campus placements.

The webinar also featured Mr Saad Hameed (Training and Placement Officer, General), Dr Jahangir Alam, Dr Faisal Anwer and Dr Mohammad Nadeem who said that these webinars are designed to help students to know about cutting edge technologies and high-level IT developments from experts.
