All departments should play active role for Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh: CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan
Bhopal : Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has instructed ministers to conduct regular reviews of their departments to speed up public welfare efforts, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan interacted with the ministers at Mantralaya before the beginning of Virtual Cabinet. He said that the important suggestions that came up in the recently concluded webinar organized for the roadmap of Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh will be implemented.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that suggestions have been received from the general public also apart from scholars and subject-experts in the Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh webinar. These should also be placed in the roadmap. It has to be ensured that practical suggestions are included. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the ministers should hold meetings with the coordinating officers after the webinar from August 16 onwards to prepare a draft for development in various areas for preparing the roadmap of Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh on the Prime Minister’s call for Atmanirbhar Bharat. Groups of ministers should give their recommendations by August 25th. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that after getting these recommendations, discussions will be held with NITI Aayog. After this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be entrusted a 3-year roadmap for the development of Madhya Pradesh. The roadmap for development of Madhya Pradesh will have annual as well as half-yearly and quarterly goals.
Focus on promotion of schemes
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the activities of each department should reach the public. Virtual events meetings should be organized. Along with this, foundation stones must be laid, dedications should be done and funds of schemes should be deposited in the accounts of beneficiaries. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that revenue collection has been adversely affected during Corona period, but for this, priority should be given to the welfare of the common man by ensuring financial arrangements and management.
Campaign against mafia and adulterators
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that a rapid campaign should be launched against mafia and anti-social elements engaged in adulteration in the state. Adulteration of milk and other products is unforgivable.
Focus on implementation of important schemes
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that focus should be made on the implementation of Shramsiddhi Abhiyan, Sambal Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Yojana, Garib Kalyan Rozgar Abhiyan, Public Service Act, Supply of Forest Rights Pattas, Labour Reforms, Implementation of New Mandi Act, Jal Jeevan Mission, Rural Street Vendors Welfare Scheme, Hamara Ghar Hamar Vidyalaya and the Sahyog se Suraksha Abhiyan starting from August 15. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that he will take part in online programmes of Rozgar Setu, housing construction and other schemes and will extend benefits to the beneficiaries. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has hoped ministers and officials to actively work for Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh with strong will power and resolve.
