All India Higher Education Faculty Essay Competition

 

Aligarh : The UGC Human Resource Development Centre (UGC HRDC) at Aligarh Muslim University recently concluded the All India Higher Education Faculty Essay Competition as part of the G-20 University Connect Events. The competition was centered on the theme “Lifestyle Changes for Environment and Sustainable Development”.

Dr. Faiza Abbasi, the Director of UGC HRDC, highlighted the execution of the competition held under the G-20 banner. She commended all participants and extended greetings to all the winners.

Dr. J. Jeyamathi, Assistant Professor in the Department of History at Lady Doak College, Madurai, Tamil Nadu, secured the first prize with an award of INR 5000. Dr. Mohammad Nasir, Assistant Professor in the Department of Law at AMU, claimed the second prize of INR 3000. Dr. Mohammad Shakir, Assistant Professor in the Department of Education at AMU, received the third prize of INR 2000.

In addition to these winners, Dr. Ahmed Bilal, an Assistant Professor at the University Polytechnic, and Prof. Bhanu Prakash Singh, the Ex-Chairman of the Department of Physics both from AMU, also received a special prize of INR 1000 each.

Selected essays from the competition will be compiled and published as an e-book, further contributing to the academic discourse on sustainable development.
