‘Always thinking of new ways to contribute to India’s growth journey’, says Godrej Group’s emotional new campaign on India’s 72ndRepublic Day, #GodrejForIndia
New Delhi: On the occasion of India’s 72ndRepublic Day, the Godrej Group has released a video campaign that salutes the great transformation of India, and also celebrates the Group’s emotional connect and oneness with India and its people, whom it has been serving ever since it came into existence 123 years ago. The campaign, #GodrejForIndia, is also a heartfelt expression of the Group’s gratitude for having been able to contribute to the nation’s growth.
The campaign captures the transformational journey of the Group, which began as a brand of locks, and over the decades, has partnered in India’s transformative growth across multiple areas through innumerable initiatives for the greater good. The film went live on Republic Day across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn.
The digital film highlights the Godrej Group’s dedication to India over the decades – ranging from providing Indians security, comfort and wellbeing across personal safety, health and care, hygiene and work-comfort products and furniture, or shielding India’s COVID warriors and the people through protective products, and, most recently, enabling the safe, refrigerated distribution of the preventive shield of COVID vaccines across the country. It also speaks of how Godrej has been a part of India’s energy and space missions, and has remained committed to the care of the environment and ecology that would help make the planet a green and goodness-filled one. The film has been conceptualised by Team Godrej and Creativeland Asia. While all of us know Godrej as the most trustworthy brand, we wanted to chronicle what they do every day. One day, Godrej is helping us with posture-friendly WFH furniture and on the next day, they’re helping our nation on space missions. Some days, Godrej is helping our farmers get better incomes, and on other days, they are safeguarding our homes against germs and viruses. Every day, Godrej takes on a new role to answer our ever-changing needs and help our nation grow. And it was this Godrej story that we wanted to share with India on her 72nd Republic Day.
