Amazon hires 16 AMU students

Aligarh : As many as 16 Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) undergraduate and post-graduate students were hired by the tech giant and leading E-Commerce Multinational Corporation, Amazon in on-campus recruitment drive of the Training and Placement Office-General.

Bushra Zafar (MSc Statistics), Dimpal Singh (BA Russian), Fatima Parvez (B.Com), Gagan Mishra (BSc IT), Hira Arif (M.Com), Jasveen Kaur Sachdeva (MSc Botany), Jyoti Varshney (MIRM), Mohd Kashif Khan (MIRM), Mohd Saqib (M.Lib), Mustafa Azam (B.Com), Neha Rafi (B.Lib), Sania Rehman (MSc Botany), Syed Farhad Hussain (MBA), Syed Mohd Anas Zakir (BSc IT), Umra Hameed (M.Com) and Shaista Perween (BSc Geography) were selected to work on the positions of Catalogue Associate and Catalogue Lead after several rounds of interviews conducted by the Amazon team.

AMU Registrar, Mr Mohammad Imran (IPS) welcomed the recruiters and interacted with them in a special pre-placement session at the Kennedy Hall Auditorium.

Mr Saad Hameed, General Training and Placement Officer and Assistant General Training and Placement Officers, Dr Jahangir Alam and Dr Muzammil Mushtaq extended gratitude to the Amazon team and informed that more such placement drives will take place in the months to come.
