Ambassador of Switzerland to India Dr. Ralf Heckner today called on Minister of State for Science and Technology Dr Jitendra Singh in New Delhi.
During the meeting, Dr Singh emphasised on creating an Indo-Swiss innovation platform and joint start-up collaboration for research institutions including businesses and academia. He added that synergy between Industry and academia is a prerequisite for long term sustainability.
On the occasion, Dr Ralf also showed his interest in India’s growth trajectory and said that the country’s rapid jump in the Global Innovation Index rankings is a testimony to this. He added that both the countries great potential for lots of convergence in the innovation space.
