Ambedkar Jayanti: Government Degree College, Vijaypur pays tributes to architect of Indian Constitution

Jammu: Government Degree College, Vijaypur celebrated 130th birth anniversary of Dr. B. R Ambedkar and paid tributes to the chief architect of Indian Constitution by organizing a Symposium on the theme “Contribution of Dr. B.R Ambedkar in Indian Society”

The Programme began with the welcome address of Dr. Sunil Kumar Mangoch, Assistant Professor, Department of Dogri. He threw light on the life of Dr. B. R Ambedkar and his immense contribution in the framing of Indian Constitution.

The Students participated in the symposium and presented their views about the philosophy of Dr. Baba Sahab Ambedkar.

A short documentary on the life and contribution of Dr. B. R Ambedkar was also screened for the students.

The programme was held under the guidance of college Principal, Dr. Sangeeta Sudan. She talked about the role of Dr. Ambedkar in the development of the nation and congratulated the participants and the organizers for making the event a grand success.
