Ahmedabad : Amit Vasava, IPS, SP Ahmedabad Rural, delivered a lecture on cybercrime security at Anant National University today. Also joined him, Megha Tevar, Dy SP, Ahmedabad Rural and Miss Kavita, incharge of 181 women helpline – Abhayam, who addressed the students on different services which women can avail to become truly empowered.

The session apprised attendees of various online frauds and phishing scams and equipped them with techniques to identify and stay wary of them. The session included various case studies that helped participants understand how to best get help from police and organisations such as Abhayam to ensure the safety and security of everyone.
