Amity Business School, Mumbai, organized Global Entrepreneurial Summit 2022
Amity Business School, Amity University, Mumbai has organized The Global Entrepreneurial Summit on 22nd March 2022. The event was inaugurated by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. A.W. Santhosh Kumar. The event involved globally recognized personalities as panellists and keynote speakers. The four round table conferences covered topics to enrich the young minds and raise the entrepreneur in them. Vice Chancellor Santosh Kumar enlightened on importance of global convergence in contemporary era and thus this summit is a way to congregate all global intellectuals on a single podium.
Mr. Apurva Anand, Vice President of Consumer Payment at Mobikwik, Haryana, India was the keynote speaker and the theme was “Entrepreneurship and Youth Today”. He shared his thoughts about Youth and their involvement and motivation in the field of businesses and startups.
Round Table 1 was focusing on ‘Entrepreneurship and Gender’, the moderator Dr. Pushpendu Rakshit lead the discussion with the panellists. The discussion was very insightful, and the audience understood how to defy gender stereotypes in the world of business.
The 2nd Round Table focused on ‘Social and community entrepreneurship’, this round table was moderated by Dr. Joyee Chatterjee and several points were discussed by the panellist and different perspectives were put forward for a better understanding of the main topic of the round table discussion.
Mr. Prathamesh Dembla, Head of Growth at Licious spoke about Business Sustainability on E-Commerce Platforms, his enthusiastic keynote moved the audience and with his words of motivation.
Round table 3 was about ‘The role of universities in fostering entrepreneurship’, focusing on how universities of the present-day are crucial in the journey of building an entrepreneur. Having panellists from all around the world made the discussion very diverse. Dr. Bhawna Sharma was the moderator of this round table and the whole session was precise and covered every possible aspect of the topic.
The Last round table discussion was about Re-thinking entrepreneurship after the crisis of COVID-19. Moderated by Dr, Vinit Joshi, the discussion addressed the post-pandemic world and how startups have skyrocketed as the job market scenario has changed drastically.
