Amity International School Mayur Vihar celebrates its Annual Day on theme ‘Gyanamritam’

 

Spreading the message on importance of Indian culture and values, Amity International School Mayur Vihar organized its Annual Day on theme ‘Gyanamritam’ wherein students from class VI till XII presented mesmerizing performances through various cultural activities including play, dance, music, etc.

The students presented a dance drama on “Krishna Aradhna” reminiscing life lessons taught by Lord Krishna. The production came alive with the colorful scenes from the life of Krishna. It started out with a portrayal of his childhood years and culminated with glorious group dance performance.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Sujit Banerjee, Director at Department of Science & Technology lauded the achievements of Amity schools and its students. He advised the students to enjoy the studies and other activities they are doing as a student. He urged them to have a dream and pursue it with passion and dedication. Dr. Banerjee remarked that it is essential to do hard work at initial stages of life, only then one can achieve success in a long run. He further added that it is important that parents and schools nurture the youngsters to be sensitive towards the society and must encourage them to help the people in need.

Speaking on the occasion, Mrs. Mohina Dhar- Academics, Amity International Schools said that Amity thrive towards making students, responsible citizens. She apprised that Amity is committed towards child development by identifying their talent and further nurturing the potential. Mrs. Dhar emphasized on the importance of participation in such programmes which are not just meant for dance and music but provides a platform for learning.

Ms. Meenu Kanwar, Amity International School Mayur Vihar shared the school report of academic year 2018-2019. She apprised about unprecedented laurels achieved by students and teachers at National and International levels.

During the occasion, meritorious students and special acgievers of Amity School Mayur Vihar were felicitated by Mrs. Pooja Chauahn, Chairperson, Amity Humanity Foundation; Mrs. Jaishree Chauhan, Jaishree Chauhan, Vice-Chairperson, Amity Finishing School; Mrs. Mehtaab Chauhan and other delegates.
