Amity Student Shines at Fashion Talent Hunt Show

Ms. Esha Velankar, a student of B.Des (Fashion Communication), Amity University, Mumbai, has been crowned Miss Cocoaberry Diva. Ms. Esha also won the award for best skin and best multimedia selection. Esha is also preparing for the next Femina Miss India pageant to be held at the end of this year. Esha had the privilege of being mentored by Alesia Raut and Anjali Raut, the official ramp walk coach and grooming expert of Femina Miss India.

 

Esha is the first youngest Indian to win the “Miss Unity International 2021-22” pageant after competing against 25 other countries around the world, and her journey to passion continues

 

Ms Esha got an opportunity to walk the ramp for Indian Original Paris Fashion Week Designer Vaishali S Couture for her Lakmé Fashion week collection “Beneath- A collection of sea inspired looks.” in collaboration with Lakmé Salon. The event was held on 17 March 2023 at The Quorum, One World Centre, Mumbai

 

Speaking about Esha’s achievement, Prof (Dr.) A W Santhosh Kumar, Vice Chancellor, Amity University, Mumbai, said, “At Amity University, we always encourage students to enhance their talent and get the attention of industry. Ms. Esha is doing a fantastic job, and we wish her luck to achieve her dreams.”

 

Prof Dr Bhavana Chanana, who heads Amity School of Fashion Design and technology, said, “We provide all support to the students to compete in prestigious competitions. With the participation, we are more inclined to produced future talents.”
