Amity University announces new initiatives toward nation-building on 73rd Republic Day
Noida: 73rd Republic Day was celebrated at Amity University Greater Noida Campus & AIBS with great enthusiasm and Patriotic Fervour. Flag Hoisting Ceremony was organized at Amity University Greater Noida Campus. Due to the Covid-19 crises, the celebration was organized at the campus and on virtual platforms as well.
The virtual ceremony began with the online Flag Hoisting by Founder President Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan; Chancellor Dr. Atul Chauhan, Chairperson Dr. (Mrs.) Amita Chauhan, Chairperson Amity Humanity Foundation Mrs. Pooja Chauhan, and Prof. (Dr.) Gurinder Singh in the virtual presence of all officials, faculties, staff, and students. The function was followed by cultural programs and the virtual inauguration of many International Partnerships and initiatives which step forwards Amity’s commitment of providing the best of World Education and giving students international exposure through international internships, training, projects, research, and placements.
Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, Founder President, Amity Education Group congratulated all Indians on Republic Day and motivated all by famous poem ” koshish karne walo ki kabhi haar nahi hoti “. Dr. Chauhan added that “Sanskar and values” are the foundation of any individual and organization. He advised all students that they should always respect their parents and elder.
Sharing his views on the occasion, Dr. Atul Chauhan, Chancellor, Amity University, averred, “We are proud to be celebrating the 73rd Republic Day today and it is on this day that we come together to remind ourselves of the responsibilities that we have towards our nation. We at Amity are nurturing the future leaders of tomorrow and Amitians are a shining example of our commitment towards our nation. We, at Amity, will keep working together towards changing the world and making it a better place to live in.
Group Vice Chancellor Amity Education Group Prof. (Dr.) Gurinder Singh congratulated all present and motivated the students, researchers, and academicians to dedicate their all efforts towards nation-building through their research and academic excellence. He further added that Amity in its unique way to celebrate the occasion has launched some new Initiatives and announced center of excellence where research and nation-building activities will be done by students and research scholars.
The occasion was marked special by launching many initiatives which include the following establishment:
• New International Partnerships in USA
• New International Partnerships in Canada
• New International Partnerships in UK
• Announcement to launch of Higher Education Institution in Canada
• Announcement to launch of Amity Rekhi Centre of Excellence for the Science of Happiness
• Launch of E- Cell and Case Centre at AUGN Campus.
Vice President RBEF, VP (Personnel), Deans, HOIs, HODs, Faculty Members, Senior Officials of Amity Greater Noida Campus & Amity International Business School, and hundreds of the students attended this virtual celebration of our beloved Country’s 73rd Republic Day.
