Amity University conducted an online career counselling session for students and their parents
New Delhi: In this tough time when every sector including Education sector is badly affected by Covid 19, most of the students who are looking for higher studies and their parents are mainly worried about getting admission in reputed universities and the course to be chosen in order to enhance their employability, development of skills, getting global placements and exposure.
Amity University, Greater Noida took an initiative to reduce the stress of the students and was live today with career counselling sessions on the topic Education 4.0 to nurture Industry Ready Professionals: Emerging Career Options in Management & Allied Domains. The session was focused on various students related issues like How to build your profile, what activities should students focus these days, how important is the role of the University you are choosing, etc.
Prof. (Dr.) Gurinder Singh, Group Vice Chancellor of Amity Universities, Prof. Bhawna Kumar, Vice President- RBEF, Director Admission & Dean Brig. H.S. Dhanny, Dean Prof. J.S. Jassi, VP Mr. A.K. Choudhary, leading academicians, Directors, and domain heads of various programs were present during this interactive online session.
Dr. Gurinder Singh, in his speech, highlighted that during these difficult times, Amity reached out to all students and ensured that ONLINE classes were started for them so that there is no loss of studies. Webinars have been conducted for students and faculties of Amity by domain experts from all over the world. He also highlighted, how the Amity is completely aligned with Industry 4.0 requirements thus ensuring students fully ready to start contributing to the organizations where they get placed. He also mentioned that Amity ensures all-round development of students to ensure easy placement in Industry.
The webinar had a question and answer session in the end where the participants put forward many important questions to the speakers which were answered clearly and precisely both in English and Hindi language. Included placement opportunities for students of Fashion Design Travel and Tourism, the difference between the 3 Continent & normal course offered in Amity and placement assistance for the students.
Hundreds of prospective parent students participated in this live event and a live question-answer handling session handled by domain-specific experts made it more meaningful and interesting.
