Amity University, Mumbai Celebrates 74thRepublic Day at Campus

Amity University, Maharashtra celebrated 74thRepublic Day (26thJanuary 2023) with great enthusiasm. The celebration started with Registrar Dr. H S Vyas welcome address followed by Flag hoisting by Vice Chancellor A W Santhoshkumar and National Anthem. The program was attended by faculties and students at the Amity University Mumbai campus near Bhatan, Panvel.

Speaking at this occasion, Prof (Dr.) A W Santhoshkumar said, ” We remember two mantra’s to exercise on this day, They are “independence” , “freedom” and “freedom of rights”. In this day, I just join hands along with you in giving thanks to our nation that is prospering despite the trials and tribulations no matter what if it is going to be Covid or any other. We are part of this nation, and we are indeed very proud also to be called as Amitians. He also spoke that ” we should not forget our Institution “Amity” which had given address to us in our Country and also to live and Prosper the dreams of Founder President Dr. Ashok Chauhan Ji, and the Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. Aseem Chauhan Ji.

The occasion was graced by Senior dignitaries, Deans, Head of Institutions, Directors of School, Faculty Members, Administrative Staffs and Students of Amity University Maharashtra.

Amity University, Maharashtra has been actively celebrating 26th January – Republic Day as well as 15th August – Independence Day right from the first year of its inception.
