The Millennium Fellowship Program, administered by United Nations Academic Impact and Millennium Campus Network, went through an intensive application process for the Class of 2023, considering more than 44,000 applicants from more than 3,000 universities in 119 countries. Only a few, 260 universities worldwide (only 9% of applicants), have been selected to host a group of 4,000 Millennium Scholars in 2023. This fellowship spans one semester and aims to develop leadership skills while contributing to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Participants go through a cycle of “Convene,” “Challenge,” and “Celebrate,” culminating in a certificate of recognition from the United Nations Academic Impact and Millennium Campus Network.
