Jashn-e-Milad held at AMU Malappuram Centre

Malappuram: “Transformation of the Arab world into a great civilization in a short span of time was possible because of the prophet Mohammad (SAW)’s message combined his actions, and his strong commitment to establish a society based on values of justice, equality and fraternity”, said Mr Faisal KP, Director, AMU Malappuram Centre (Kerala) while delivering the inaugural speech at an Eid Miladun Nabi programme at the centre.

Mr Faisal said that Prophet Mohammed (SAW) stood for great humanitarian values and preached the message of universal peace, love and brotherhood.

Guest of honor, Dr Hasanyar Azhari, Principal, Hasaniya Academy for Arts and Islamic Studies, Jamia Hasaniya Isamia, Palakkad, shed light on the divine position of the Prophet saying that without chanting his name and sending peace on him and his family, even our prayers cannot be completed. He said that love for the Prophet means following his commands and emulating his actions to win Allah’s favours. He urged the students to spread Prophet Mohammad (SAW)’s message peace, humanity and communal harmony.

Highlighting the significance of Miladun Nabi programme, guest of honor, Maulana Ashraf Hudawi Bakkayil, faculty member, Darul Huda Islamic University (West Bengal Campus) said that the day provides an opportunity to commemorate the greatness of holy Prophet and spread his message of love and compassion for all.

He said the world will become paradise if the world adopts even one teaching of the Prophet that the “best among you is the one who doesn?t harm others with his tongue and hands?.

Earlier, Mr Syed Ahmad Saad, Convener, Seerat Committee, delivered Welcome address.

Students of Jamia Hasaniya Isamia, Palakkad presented the famous Arabic poem ‘Qasida Burda’, while M Azeem, Hiba Nazeer, Shubham Gupta and M Zubair recited Naat and Benazeer, Riaz Ahmad and Yaqoob Murtaza delivered speeches.

Dr Shahnawaz Ahmed Malik proposed a vote of thanks while Mr Abubacker Ahmad conducted the programme.
