Madhya Pradesh: Revised Programme of State Level Joint Counseling of NEET

 

Bhopal: In compliance to the directives of the Supreme Court, New Delhi, the Director Medical Education has issued the revised programme of state level joint counseling of NEET U.G.-2017.

As per the revised programme, the revised list of state’s merit list has been issued on August 30. According to the programme, choice filling and choice locking (One Time for all the Rounds) will be held from August 31, 2017 (00:01 hrs) to September 01, 2017 (9.00 a.m.). Allotment result of round 1 will be published on September 03, 2017. Reporting at allotted medical/dental college for scrutiny and admission of selected candidates will be held immediately after declaration of result till 8.00 p.m. on 04.09.2017.

Directives have been issued by the Director Medical Education regarding the counseling. According to the prescribed time table, counseling of first round will be held online. It is mandatory for all the earlier registered eligible candidates in MP Online to fill new ‘Choice Filling and Locking’ for taking part in the counseling for which only one chance will be given to the candidates. The medical education department has advised the candidates to fill the choice filing and locking with utmost care. No change is possible in choice after choice locking.

Such candidates who were admitted from the state quota through earlier counseling and had submitted their original documents in other academic institutions are required to submit their present allotment letter and certificate issued by the dean/principal as regard to original certificates submitted in the institution and self attested copies of all the original certificates to the newly allotted institution.

After the new allotment, the selected candidates are required to deposit necessary fee through M.P. Online or demand draft in the allotted college for admission. Candidates who have already paid the fee in the past, their fee will be adjusted in new allotted college after the allotment.

Detail information related to counseling will be displayed from time to time on the website of Office of the Commissioner Medical education www.medicaleducation.mp.gov.in and www.dme.mponline.gov.in. The director medical education has urged the candidates to keep in constant touch with the website.
