AMU Alumnus Receives Global Harmony Award 2024

Aligarh : Mr. Mirza Tauseef  Baig, a distinguished alumnus of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) (MSW, 2005-06), Department of Social Work, has been honoured with the prestigious Global Harmony Award 2024. Presented on International Peace Day, the award recognizes his relentless efforts to foster peace and unity across communities.

With significant expertise in public health, Mr. Baig has spearheaded critical health programs, particularly in child health and pneumonia management. His leadership in strategic planning, stakeholder engagement and health system strengthening has made an impact, especially in marginalized communities.

Currently serving as Program Manager with Bal Raksha Bharat (Save the Children, India), Mr. Baig continues to champion the cause of children’s rights and well-being.
