AMU Chancellor condoles Pro-Chancellor’s demise
Aligarh: His Holiness Dr Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin, Chancellor, Aligarh Muslim University has expressed a deep sense of grief and sorrow on the passing away of AMU Pro-Chancellor, Nawab Ibne Saeed Khan of Chhatari.
In a letter addressed to the Vice Chancellor, Prof Tariq Mansoor, the Chancellor’s brother Dr Qaidjohar Bhaisaheb Ezzuddin said that His Holiness Dr Mufaddal Saifuddin “is saddened by his passing and has prayed that Allah Ta’ala bless Nawab Saheb with His mercy and benevolence, and provide forbearance to his bereaved family and loved ones”.
In his condolence message, Dr. Ezzuddin has mentioned, “The late Pro-Chancellor and his father, Nawab Hafiz Sir Ahmad Saeed Khan served the Aligarh fraternity with distinction and supported a number of causes and initiatives for the betterment of the nation for over a century. Their lives are a shining example of the virtue and honour inherent in serving the lofty cause of knowledge and education”.
