AMU City Girls’ School bring laurels

Aligarh: The AMU City Girls’ High School, AMU students won the first prize in the “Tug of War” competition at the Aligarh Exhibition on February 15. This performance brought laurels to their school.

Their mentor, Mr. Zeeshan Nawab, motivated them to work together as team. The winning team included Sadiya Waseem, Ilma Javed, Tuba, Samiksha Gautam, Kavya Chaudhary, Arshi Parveen, Alisha, Kaneez Fatima, Tarab, and Saba.

The team received much support from the sopectators who cheered the team at every move. The winners were given certificates, medals, and T-shirts. The Principal, Dr. MD Alamgir, praised the students and asked them to join more events. In another event the next day, Shagun Goswami won third place, and Ilma and Rukhsar got consolation prizes in the “Arm Wrestling” competition on February 16.
