AMU: Class I admission test held

 

ALIGARH :  The entrance test for admission to Class I in the schools maintained by the Aligarh Muslim University was held peacefully at 10 centers, including those earmarked for only girl students.

The AMU Vice Chancellor, Prof Naima Khatoon, along with the Registrar Mr. Mohd. Imran, IPS, Proctor, Prof. M. Wasim Ali and his team, visited several test centres and interacted with the parents of candidates, who appreciated the efforts of the University authorities to provide various kinds of facilities, including drinking water and adequate shelter.

The Vice-Chancellor said that the entrance examinations at AMU are conducted with utmost confidentiality and transparency and the only scale for judging the students’ qualification for admission to various courses is merit.

A total of 5205 candidates, including 2420 girls are seeking admission to Class I for the academic session 2024-25.
