AMU to conduct solar power training programmes for engineers and entrepreneurs

Aligarh: Aligarh Muslim University’s Department of Electrical Engineering and Electricity Department will soon conduct training programmes on solar power for engineers and entrepreneurs as the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy approved the varsity’s proposals to conduct these programmes.

With the approval Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) will organise two-day training programmes for practicing engineers of Government run electricity distribution companies and five-day training programmes for entrepreneurship development in the area of ‘Grid connected Solar Power.’

AMU is the only institution in Uttar Pradesh and one of the 14 institutions in the country to receive permission for conducting these programmes.
