AMU Coordination Committee has nothing to do with AMU, AMU Clarifies

Aligarh: Aligarh Muslim University expressed concern over the illegal use of the university’s name and logo by the so-called ‘AMU Coordination Committee’.

A notice from AMU stated: “This ‘Committee’ is not related to AMU and the university has never accorded any permission to use its name and logo. It comes to the sight that this ‘Committee’ has been formed by private individuals and is not recognised by any government agency”.

The notice was issued in reply to an email received by the Vice Chancellor from a university alumnus regarding the actionable and unlawful use of the university’s name and logo by the pretended ‘Committee’.
