AMU Dept of Plastic Surgery organises Alumni Meet

Aligarh: Nostalgia was the reigning emotion at Department of Plastic Surgery, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) Alumni Meet as alumni from different parts of India and from all over the world recalled old memories in a function filled with frolic and rekindling of friendships.

Attending the inaugural function of the meet as the Chief Guest, AMU Registrar, Mr Abdul Hamid (IPS) remarked that this function will give impetus to the current students, motivating them to keep the legacy going strong by learning from the experiences of their seniors.

The Guest of Honour, Prof Shahid Ali Siddiqui, Principal and CMS, JNMC said that the interaction of present students with the alumni will bring enthusiasm to guide them on their career paths.

Prof Imran Ahmad, Chairman, Department of Plastic Surgery; Prof A H Khan, Prof M Yaseen and Dr M Fahud Khurram shared experiences and memories and urged students to further raise the bar of the department.

On the occasion, alumni with students and faculty members also planted tree saplings to observe Nation-wide Swachta Pakhwada.
