AMU Extends Awareness of Technologies among the rural population”
Aligarh, March 20: An event “Awareness of Technologies among the rural population” was held in the rural area of Genda Nagar Manzoorgarhi, District Aligarh . The event was organized organized by the department of Electronics Engineering. The event was jointly organised by Dr Mohd Wajid (coordinator), Dr Mohd Yasir and Dr Mohd Asifuddola .
Around 70 children who attended the event were educated about e-Learning in rural populations using ICT. The speakers explained how technology can be used to access education and improve knowledge. They also highlighted the various benefits of technology in the field of education, such as online courses, e-books, and interactive educational resources.
The speakers also warned the children about the overuse of technology and its negative impact on health and social life. They shared their experiences with technology and asked questions to clarify their doubts. The organizers used colorful posters to help them understand the concepts better.
Prof Ekram Khan, Chairperson, Department of Electronics such initiatives can play a vital role in bridging the digital divide between rural and urban areas and empowering the rural population with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in the modern world.
