AMU: Fact-finding enquiry committee begins its proceedings

Aligarh: The fact-finding enquiry committee, headed by Hon’ble Justice V K Gupta (Retd), former Chief Justice, High Courts of Jharkhand, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, has started its proceedings relating to the entire sequence of events that took place from December 13, 2019 and which led to the disturbances in the intervening night of December 15-16.

Joint Registrar (Departmental Enquiry) and Secretary to the Inquiry Committee has urged all the students, teachers and non-teaching staff, who are desirous to depose before the enquiry committee, to submit their written statement to the Joint Registrar (DE) on or before February 7, 2020 so that the same may be placed before the Inquiry Committee.
