AMU faculty become Cardiological Society president
Aligarh : Prof M U Rabbani, Chairman, Department of Cardiology, J N Medical College (JNMC), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) took over as the President of Cardiological Society of India, UP Chapter for his deft skills and expertise in providing health care through advanced procedures including placements of stents, non-surgical implantation of heart valves and other treatments.
He took the charge from Prof Satyendra Tiwari (SGPGI, Lucknow) in the recently concluded 27th conference of the Cardiological Society of India, UP Chapter in Lucknow.
“Prof Balram Bhargava (Director General, Indian Council of Medical Research cum Secretary, Department of Health Research, Govt. of India) was the Chief Guest of the two-day conference with Lt-Gen. Bipin Puri (Vice-Chancellor, K.G’s Medical University) as the Guest of Honour. A large number of Cardiologists and practising physicians participated in the conference”, said Prof Rabbani.
Padam Shri Dr Mansoor Hasan (Professor Emeritus, Department of Cardiology) was also conferred with the Lifetime Achievement award in the conference.
