AMU faculty chairs session in Raipur Conference
Aligarh: Professor Geeta Rajput, Department of Prosthodontics, Dr Z A Dental College (ZADC), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) chaired a session on ‘Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) Ankylosis’ in Raipur, Chhatisgarh in the ’47th Indian Prosthodontics Society National Conference’.
Prof Geeta spoke on various management goals in TMJ Ankylosis such as increasing the patient’s mandibular function, decreasing the pain and correcting associated facial deformity.
She clearified various TMJ Ankylosis treatments methods.
ZADC junior residents, Dr Faraaz Ansari and Dr Zeba Naaz assisted Prof Geeta in the poster presentation on ‘Implants’. The junior residents later attended a lecture by Jeffrey P Okeson, Director, Orofacial Pain Center, University of Kentucky, USA.
