AMU faculty chairs session in Singapore conference

Aligarh: Dr Mohd Tariq, Assistant Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) chaired a technical session on ‘Current Developments in Multilevel Converters: Modulation techniques, Reliability, Power Conversion Applications and Fault Tolerance Analysis ‘ in the online ’46th Flagship Annual Conference of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society (IECON-2020), Singapore.’

He overviewed papers on new circuits of power converters and its application for renewable energy presented by the faculty members and researchers from various countries. The conference provided a forum to scientists and engineers to present the research findings in areas of Industrial Electronics and contributions toward sustainable development.

“The session emphasized the efficient aspects covered in the advancement led by multilevel converters for industry applications,” said Dr Tariq.
