AMU faculty chairs sessions in International Conference

 

Aligarh : Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) faculty member from the Department of Business Administration, Prof Mohammed Naved Khan thorough his insightful presdential remarks cleared up the miasma of uncertainty about consumer behaviour in digital world, while addressing a two-day International Conference and Doctoral Consortium on ‘Responsible and Resilient Business Research’ of the Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH), Greater Noida.

He chaired the Research Track session on ‘Responsible Consumerism in the Digital Age’, featuring paper presentations by doctoral scholars from the IIMs and the IITs and other leading management institutions and a Doctoral Consortium in which he shared valuable insights manifesting empirical understanding of the issue.

Prof Mohammed Naved captivated the interest and attention of the audience with the introduction based on ‘attention to detail’ of the Chief Guest, Dr K K Agarwal (Chairman, National Board of Accreditation -NBA) before his talk on business research.

He effectively engaged the audience and helped them assimilate the details of Norway based academician, Dr Amandeep Dhir’s talk on ‘How to Convert Contemporary Research Idea into a Meaningful Research Paper’.

Prof Mohammed Naved also previewed diverse conversations in the ‘Meet the Editors’ session—featuring talks on ‘How to Publish in High Impact Journals’ by Prof Justin Paul (Editor in Chief, International Journal of Consumer Studies), Prof Shrihari Sridhar (Associate Editor, Journal of Marketing Research), Prof Renana Peres (Senior Editor, International Journal of Research in Marketing) and Prof Douglas Cumming (Co Editor-in-Chief, British Journal of Management).
