AMU faculty conducts workshop and deliver lectures

 

Aligarh : Prof S Moied Ahmed discussed how human factors make the individual, team, environmental and organisational aspects of the anaesthetic environment that affect performance and decision-making of 0eams in the workshop on ‘Difficult Airway in Critically Ill Patients’ of the National Conference of Indian Society Of Critical Care Medicine held at Mahatma Gandhi Convention Centre, Ahmedabad.

As an invited faculty to conduct the workshop and the main speaker to deliver lectures on ‘Human Factor in Airway Management’, ‘Pharmacology in Managing Difficult Airway’, he gave the participants an understanding of the enablers and barriers to anaesthesia teams during airway management challenges.

Prof Moied also presented a case study of the Airway Management of a patient with Maxillofacial Trauma.

He provided the participants with hands-on-training in surgical techniques in managing Difficult Airway.

Prof Moied also participated in the Conference as a faculty in the ‘Tribate on Early Vs Late Tracheostomy’.

On the occasion, a book on Critical Care Update 2022 was also released which consists of a chapter on Airway Issues in Oncology by Prof Moied.
