AMU faculty delivers an online lecture on NEP-2020

ALIGARH  : Dr. Taher H. Pathan, In-Charge, Marathi Section, Department of Modern Indian Languages, Aligarh Muslim University, delivered an online lecture on the “Role of Languages in National Education Policy 2020” at a national webinar organized by Ashwaghosh Education and Vyayam Prasarak Mandal’s Women’s College of Bachelor of Computer Application, Chatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra.

Dr. Pathan said that education, especially school education, plays a critical role in the cognitive and overall development of a child and the language, adopted as a medium of instruction, is an instrument for his or her holistic development.

He stated that by the integration of vernacular languages in the early stages of learning, up to class 5, students will be able to learn and respect the diversity of India.
