AMU faculty delivers lecture in webinar

Aligarh: “The middle class is poorly positioned to weather the storm created by the Covid-19 pandemic, which has impacted all sectors of the economy,” said Prof M Shakeel Ahmed Samdani, Dean, Faculty of Law, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU).

He was delivering the keynote address through a video conferencing platform in the webinar on ‘Impact of Covid-19 on the Middle Class’ organised by Mohammad Ali Jauhar University, Rampur and Sahitya Darshan Sansthan.

Speaking as the Chief Guest, Prof Samdani pointed out that the middle class has begun to lose jobs and their worries are increasing day by day.

“Even when factories start producing, the middle class has very less or no money to consume,” he emphasised.
