AMU faculty delivers lecture

 

Aligarh : Dr Taher H Pathan, In-charge Marathi Section, Department of Modern Indian Languages, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), delivered a lecture on ‘Contemporary Muslim Marathi Literature’ in the Fifteen Day Refresher Course/Two Week National Online FDP on ‘Contemporary Development of Marathi Language and Literature: Innovations and Challenges’ of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, New Delhi and SNNC ACS College Kusumba, Dhule.

He said: “Muslim Marathi literature is advancing with great vigour today, keeping in view the wider human values. Many Muslims in Maharashtra have enriched the Marathi language by writing in Marathi. Muslim Marathi writers introduced human values by easily expressing their feelings, sensations, and pains through their writings”.
