AMU faculty delivers online lecture on Sir Syed’s Educational Mission

Aligarh: Prof Latif Hussain Shah Kazmi, Chairman, Department of Philosophy, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) invigorated the audience of the Aligarh Old Boys’ Association, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh in an online lecture on ‘Sir Syed’s Educational Mission and the Relevance of his Vision in Our Times’.

Delivering an extensive and engaging speech in the e-conference, Prof Kazmi brought out that Sir Ahmad Khan had advised Muslims to work on principles of undertaking the reconstruction of Islāmic Ideas, developing scientific and technological sophistication, having a balanced and rational attitude towards the West, adopting the Western modes, techniques and style of life, opening communication channels and Inter-faith Dialogue and to propagate true religious spirit by exercising religious tolerance.
