AMU faculty delivers talk on Solar PV Technology
Aligarh: Dr Mohd Tariq, Assistant Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering, ZH College of Engineering and Technology (ZHCET), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) delivered an invited talk on ‘Modern Innovations, Design and Development of Solar PV Technology’ in the AICTE Sponsored Faculty Development Program (ATAL-FDP) at the Centre of Excellence in Renewable Energy Education and Research, University of Lucknow.
Dr Tariq highlighted the current and upcoming innovations in solar technologies and essentials to consider for determining if an idea or technology is patentable.
Dr Tariq delineated the exponential growth of Solar PV System Technology in the past two decades—pathways for the global energy transformation, the potential of Solar PV for mitigating energy-related carbon emissions and deployment, investment, technology, grid integration and socio-economic aspects related to Solar PV System.
He spoke on drafting patents, writing claims for inventions and response reports for the objections made by examiners.
Dr Tariq motivated participants to patent their ideas/technology and to take the necessary steps to strengthen the industry-academia bond.
