AMU faculty Dr. Aysha Munira Rasheed presents paper at a UK University

Aligarh: Dr. Aysha Munira Rasheed, Associate Professor in the Department of English, Aligarh Muslim University recently attended an International Conference on Film Studies at London Centre for Interdisciplinary Research, Birkbeck, University of London and presented her research paper on “Female Agency in Vishal Bhardwaj’s Shakespearean Trilogy: Maqbool, Omakara, and Haider – Reading a Film, Watching a Book”.

Earlier, she has also presented a paper at the University of Oxford on Irreversible Transculturation and Gendered Fault lines in the Muslim Society: A Case Study of Qanta Ahmed’s In the Land of Invisible Women. She presented her paper at the 9th Global Conference on Interculturalism held at Mansfield College, University of Oxford, UK.
