AMU faculty elected President, NCCPI
ALIGARH : Professor Rakesh Bhargava (Dean, Faculty of Medicine, Aligarh Muslim University) has been elected as the President, National College of Chest Physicians of India (NCCPI) at the National Pulmonary Conference held on April 2 at Varanasi. NCCPI is the oldest society of chest physicians in India.
Dr Bhargava has published more than 115 papers in the national and international journals and has served as the organizing secretary of NAPCON 2014. He has also received the prestigious NCCP Oration Award.
Dr Bhargava said that his election is a matter of pride for the AMU as it is the first time a chest physician from Aligarh has been elected as the president of this coveted body.
