AMU faculty honoured

ALIGARH: Lieutenant Dr. Farooq Ahmad Dar, Associate Professor in the Department of Tashreeh Wa Munafeul Aza, Ajmal Khan Tibbiya College, Aligarh Muslim University, who is also serving as an NCC officer at 8 UP Bn, has completed a rank advancement refresher course at the Officers’ Training Academy (OTA), Kamptee.

Dr Dar stood first in the order of merit among 120 officers who came from different Universities and Colleges of India, and received commendations for this achievement from Commandant OTA Maj. Gen. KJS Rathore.

Congratulating Dr Dar on this achievement, the Commanding Officer, 8 UP Bn, Col. Ajay Lumba said that it is a proud moment for the 8 UP Bn and the Gp Hq Aligarh and the university. After receiving the commission, Dr. Dar will be ranked as Captain.
