AMU faculty member delivers a keynote address
ALIGARH : Dr. Asif Ali Syed, Department of Business Administration, Aligarh Muslim University delivered a keynote address at the International Conference on “Emerging Technologies and Circular Economy”, organised by Apeejay School of Management, Dwarka.
He discussed the role of circular economy highlighting the emergence of latest technologies in achieving sustainable goals of circular economy. “Technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain and Internet of Things can enable better tracking, monitoring and management of resources throughout their life cycle promoting circularity”, he said.
He stated that leveraging emerging technologies in the context of circular economy principles, businesses and industries can further transition towards more sustainable practices, reduce waste generation, conserve resources, and create new avenues for economic growth while minimizing environmental impact.
Dr. Syed also chaired a session on “Emerging Technologies”.
