AMU faculty members deliver talks at international conference on Mathematics

Aligarh : Prof. Mohammad Ashraf, former Chairman, Department of Mathematics and former Dean, Faculty of Science, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) and Dr. Muzibur Rahman Mozumder, Associate Professor, Department of Mathematics attended the third International Conference on Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence (TICMAI- 2024) at Antalya Turkey, organised recently by the Irbid National University-Jordan, in collaboration with Euro-Arab Organizations for Environmental, Water and Dessert Research.

Prof Ashraf delivered a plenary talk in the conference. He was one of the organisers from different countries such as Morocco, Jodan, Turkey and many other European countries.

Dr Mozumder delivered a talk entitled “A note on differential identities in σ-prime ring with generalized derivations” in which he explained that the structure of a σ-prime ring is commutative under certain conditions and its various properties have many applications in diverse fields such as graph theory, coding theory, cryptography etc.

 One Ph.D. scholar, Mr. Nazim working under the supervision of Prof. Nadeem ur Rehman, also attended the conference and presented a paper.
