AMU Faculty presents keynote address at International Symposium

Aligarh : Dr. Mohd Nayyer Rahman, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce,AMU presented a keynote speech at International Symposium on “Economic elements of Partnership: Trade, Finance and Investment Governance within BRICS” in the thematic session “Inclusive Economic Growth” organized by Hunan University, China.

He presented his empirical findings on the topic “BRICS Beyond Pandemic: Economic Indicators and Channels of Disruption”. Dr Rahman’s presentation focused on cooperation between BRICS in trade and investment with special focus on Digital trade provisions.

The need for BRICS to deal with geopolitical shocks as it is an acronym for the powerful grouping of the world’s leading emerging market economies, namely Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, he added.
