AMU faculty presents research work in Germany

Aligarh : Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) faculty member from the Department of Civil Engineering, Dr Saif Ullah Khan discussed the need and importance of optimization in all engineering problems and their applications in the recently held international workshop at the Technical University of Hamburg (TUHH), Germany.

Dr Khan was presenting his research work on the topic, ‘Process Optimization using Central Composite Design for Chromate Removal in an Electrocoagulation Column Reactor’ at TUHH where he reached on full travel grant of the Indo-German Science and Technology Centre (IGSTC).

The programme also featured talks by eminent Indian and German scientists and academicians.

Dr Khan specializes in water treatment with a focus on removal of heavy metals from industrial wastewaters.
