AMU faculty Prof. Syed Ziaur Rahman honoured

ALIGARH  : Prof. Syed Ziaur Rahman, Chairman, Department of Pharmacology, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University, has been chosen as “Spotlight of the Nation” with a citation in Clinical Pharmacology by the National Association of Pharmacology and Therapeutics (NPT).

This honour has been introduced by NPT to highlight the profile of a renowned national pharmacologist with significant contribution to the related speciality, and to motivate the young generation of doctors to choose Pharmacology and Therapeutics as a career and use their skills for the advancement of the speciality at national and international level.

Prof. Padmaja Udaykumar, President, NPT and Head, Department of Pharmacology, Father Muller Medical College, Mangalore (Karnataka) felicitated Prof. Rahman.

“On behalf of the entire pharmacology community of the country, we congratulate Dr. Syed Ziaur Rahman for being chosen as Spotlight of the nation in Pharmacology/Clinical Pharmacology/Therapeutics”, he said.
