AMU faculty receives IEI Young Engineer’s Award

Aligarh : Dr Mohd Tariq, Assistant Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has been conferred with the Institution of Engineers (India)-IEI Young Engineer’s Award in recognition of his significant contributions to the domain of power converters, energy storage devices and their optimal control for electrified transportation and renewable energy application.

He received a plaque and a certificate during the 36th Indian Engineering Congress and the IEI centenary celebrations at the Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.

Dr Tariq has published more than 150 research papers in peer-reviewed journals and has been granted 23 patents. He has supervised many research fellows in international research projects.
