AMU faculty speaks on Investors Awareness

Aligarh: Prof Babu Bakhsh Mansuri, Women’s College, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) discussed investment products to choose from mutual funds, good investment opportunities and all other aspects for making informed investment decision in the Webinar on ‘Investors Awareness, Introduction to Mutual Funds Investing’ of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

He added: “SEBI has a mandate to protect the interest of Investors in the securities market. It has taken various measures such as screen based trading system, dematerialization of securities, framing various regulations to regulate intermediaries, issuing and trading of securities and corporate restructuring among other steps to protect the interests of investors in securities”.

“The resource persons of the webinar educated participants with transparent information to reach investors,” said Prof Babu Bakhsh.
