AMU faculty,Faizan Ahmad receives award

Aligarh: Faizan Ahmad, Assistant Professor, Department of Post Harvest Engineering and Technology, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has been conferred with the ‘Dr A P J Abdul Kalam Scientist Award-2020’ by ‘The Society of Tropical Agriculture (STA) New Delhi, India’ for contribution to food processing, heat transfer and extraction of bio-active compounds from agricultural waste.

He also presented a paper on ‘Osmotic Dehydration and Ultrasound Assisted Osmotic Dehydration of Fruits and Vegetables: A Review’ in the 11th International Conference on Agriculture, Horticulture, and Plant Sciences organised by STA New Delhi.
