AMU forms committee to mark Gandhi Jayanti

Aligarh: A nine-member Committee headed by the Vice Chancellor, Prof Tariq Mansoor was constituted to mark 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. It will organise lectures and symposia by foreign scholars on ‘Gandhian Thought and Philosophy’.

IPS Officer, Mr Abdul Hamid (AMU Registrar), Prof Wasim Ahmad (Director/ Convenor Academic Programme Committee), Prof Naima Khatoon (Principal, Women’s College), Prof M Rizwan Khan (Director, IQAC), Prof Arshi Khan (Department of Political Science), Prof Mohammad Sajjad (Department of History), Prof M Jahangir Warsi (Chairman, Department of Linguistics) and Prof Md Abdus Salam (OSD, Vice Chancellor Office) are the members.
